This rehabilitation and expansion project of a residential building in the Eixample was carried out in 2015 in collaboration with JMES Estudi d’Arquitectura. The property includes a commercial space on the ground floor and mezzanine, along with five apartments, one per floor.

The original building had a serious structural issue that compromised its stability and functionality. The intervention reinforced the structure, leveled the slabs, and improved the overall habitability. Additionally, an interior volume expansion was carried out, optimizing the space without altering the main façade.

The result is a renovated building that combines structural safety, spatial efficiency, and the distinctive character of the Eixample
